In 2021 I was inspired to create this work as a prompt to enter an art show. Everything had to be black and white. This was a great exercise for me to produce something without color. I realized how much emotion is packed into the color I use in my art making. Playing with black and white was so freeing. I could concentrate on the shapes and textures. I use old lace as a stencil spraying through it with spray paint to transfer and create the patterns.

The drawing is unframed and on Fabriano Paper, 22x30”. Shipped in a mailing tube.
